@Plettenberg Bay

Truly one of the great pleasures of a visit to Plettenberg Bay is a barefoot walk from the Look Out rocks to the river mouth and back via the Lagoon edge.  The journey starts in a Northerly direction with the busy sea to the East.  Halfway you witness the power of the water flowing out to sea. Now it is time to return South via the lagoon edge. Lots of gentle movement of the water with small fish swimming amongst the scurrying crabs and sea gulls screeching at you for daring to get anywhere near their breeding habitat. If you are lucky, as I was, your walk will also end peacefully with a few tranquil reflections and a desire to take a canoe trip up river.
